What are ALDS ?
ALDs are assistive listening devices that alert you to
sounds and situations that you cannot hear well. ALDs
are also called hearing assistive technology and
assisted listening products. These products include
amplified telephones, TV listening systems and all
kinds of alerting and signaling systems for just about
any situation you can think of like the phone or
doorbell ringing, the smoke detector and alarm clock.
